For how long have you been living in your current home?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 01, 2008:
Wow! I can't believe that you asked this question...I bought a beautiful condo in Paradise Valley, Arizona last August, so I've lived here for one year. As soon as I moved in I realized that although it is everything that I thought that I wanted, that I shouldn't have bought it. I was going through crazy life changes...left a very long-term relationship as I felt that I wasn't living the life I was supposed to live. I guess that I should have waited for the craziness of my life to ease a bit before making such a huge commitment.
Last fall, I decided that I needed even more change--that I wanted to change what I was doing with my life--that I needed to travel around the world and use my talents as a psychologist and yoga teacher to do more volunteer work. Well, a couple of weeks ago, I returned from an amazing summer in New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii, and Ethiopia...I traveled alone for the first time in my life and absolutely loved the journey. I stayed with people whom I'd never met before and tried things I never dreamed of. I ended my journey doing volunteer work with a medical team and then working with an organization that I now am an official member of "Beyond the Orphanage" in Ethiopia. It was amazing. I now feel more than ever that my home is wherever I am--I'm completely comfortable living out of a suitcase and enjoyed meeting so many new friends on the road.
If I sell my place, then next year, I can job share (I'm a school psychologist) and then spend 1/2 the year traveling and doing volunteer work. Until then, it would be great to have a roommate as my place seems way too big for me since I've spent time sharing space with others over the past 10 weeks or so.
I trust completely that when the time is right, the Universe will open the doors for either a great roommate or someone who will love my place and the beautiful energy here.
Looking forward to reading all of your replies.
Peace and love,
Donna

Help

I may be interested. My job situation has lead me to work in Scottsdale, right in your neighborhood. Please communicate privately if there is any interest.
Paul
No pressure, but it would be really great if you'd communicate with me about living together as roommates. Please call me; just let me know. I did pay my current roommates through the month of Sept -and- as you know, I am out some money from that broken deal in Scottsdale.
